What’s the big deal about influence?
Reservation for One (Hundred)
Influence is a weird thing. It’s the reason some people end up on money, others end up on posters in dorm rooms, and a few end up in the nightmares of history teachers everywhere. It can launch a movement, topple a government… or just make you argue about who really invented the cronut.
And whether we like it or not, we can’t escape it.
What’s on the Menu
This project takes Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People and sets them back down at the table — but this time as portraits. Over five shows, their faces will share space with the work of local artists. Think of it as history meets fresh perspective with a side of “wait, why are THEY here?”
Heroes, Villains, and Everything in Between
Some of these people changed the world for the better. Others left scars. A few fall into that confusing category of both. But that’s the point. Influence isn’t neat. It’s messy. It spills off the page and into our lives in ways we don’t always notice until it’s too late.
The Check Arrives
So here’s the big question: if one person can shake the world that much, what kind of ripple could you make?
This isn’t your typical “walk quietly, don’t touch the art” gallery show. It’s easy to step into, full of stories you’ll want to share later, and maybe—just maybe—you’ll leave seeing things a little differently.
