What this show is
Builders & Titans highlights people who built, shaped or fundamentally changed the world around them — innovators, founders, leaders and forces of change. The goal is a cohesive show where each piece feels connected through tone and intent, while still letting your individual style come through.
Your assignment
You'll be assigned a subject by the exhibit committee.
Your artwork title will be the subject's name — no custom piece titles for this show. It keeps the exhibit clean and consistent.
Artwork requirements
1 original portrait of your assigned figure
The subject should be clearly recognizable
Medium is open: painting, mixed media, sculpture, digital, textile, etc.
Pencil is allowed only if elevated with additional elements (not a simple graphite sketch)
Size minimum: 18×24 (max size TBD — if you're thinking of going very large, let us know early)
Marketing expectation
Each artist is asked to help make this show successful:
Plan to get at least 20 guests to the show (so in order to do this, invite a lot more than 20)
We'll provide guidance and assets to make this easy.

We're simplifying the written requirements from last show:
No audio draft this time.
Optional: include your top 3 most interesting facts you discovered (can include both positive and negative/complex realities).
Artist statement: 80–100 words (we may place this on a separate placard from the subject info).
